Letchworth State Park in Autumn

Letchworth State Park is one of America’s Top State Parks (USA TODAY Readers’ Choice Award for Best State Park in the United States). It is referred to as the “Grand Canyon of the East”

Letchworth State Park is one of the most scenically magnificent areas in the eastern U.S. The Genesee River roars through the gorge over three major waterfalls (Upper, Middle & Lower Falls) between cliffs–as high as 600 feet in some places–surrounded by lush forests.

Autumn is by far the best time to see Letchworth. New York trees turn majestic colors in Fall ranging from red and orange to gold and yellow. Seeing the gorge adorned in color is something everyone should enjoy.

In this video, take a tour through Letchworth State Park in Autumn. We will take you past the Seh-ga-hun-da (The Vale of Three Falls) passing the Three Sisters (Upper, Middle and Lower Falls). Your tour will stop at all of the major overlooks including Inspiration Point, Archery Field, Humphrey’s, Great Bend and Tea Table.

The video includes bonus footage of the lower cascade of Wolf Creek call the Shower Curtain Cascade.
