Hunters Creek Park (Sgt. Mark Rademacher Park) located in South Wales, NY is one of Erie County’s most beautiful and visited parks. Using the lower parking lot, hikers can access WNY Land Conservancy’s Mossy Point Preserve, one of the nicest places to visit in WNY.
Unfortunately, it is one of the most challenging parks to navigate because of its complex trail system. Erie County Parks, Recreation & Forestry and the WNY Mountain Biking Association (WNYMBA) have worked hard to update the trail markers and maps. Even with these updates, I still find it hard to navigate especially after some fresh snow.
I have decided to release a high-resolution, digital map of Hunters Creek Park. This map can be printed on an 8.5″x11″ sheet. It can also be imported into Avenza Maps App (See HOWTO Video) and be used as a real-time, offline digital map.
