That is where we usually start our gorge trail hikes. We ended up doing more driving then planned hiking, but we still enjoyed our park hike/visit. |

I don’t normally hike when trails are wet. I was literally sliding down the trails bc of the super wet rainy day. . I ended up shortening my hike bc I don’t like the thought of eroding trails due to mud. However, I plan on going back later in the spring to spend more time. So much to learn. I honestly don't think anyone should do this hike alone, due to the ice and ravines. Needed spikes for this one. The creek was beautiful and lots of beaver activity on trees. Heard some fox and lots of birds. |
